On its official website, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) published recently the Final Report of the Election Observation Mission (EOM) on the Presidential Elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan that took place on 24 October 2021. Implementation of international standarts and recommendations in Uzbekistan's Electoral Legislation
Experts from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Needs Assessment Mission arrived in Uzbekistan with the purpose to assess the pre-election environment for the upcoming October 2021 Presidential elections in our country, including preparation for the elections.
First of all, it should be noted that these elections were of historical importance, which testified to the irreversibility of the path of adopted reforms. As a person seeing the inner mechanism of the electorate campaign, I would say that the process left a lasting impression on me.
