During the meeting there were discussed the issues of accreditation of observers from international organizations that will participate in the presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the accreditation of media representatives.
The members of the Central Election Commission considered the first issue on the agenda — the accreditation of observers from international organizations that will participate in the presidential elections.
In accordance with the CEC resolution on accreditation of observers from international organizations that will participate in the presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 9 OSCE / ODIHR international observers have been registered.
It is worth noting that today the number of accredited international observers has reached 12. On the basis of the adopted resolution, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan has prepared mandates according to a certain model for accredited observers of international organizations.
Also at the meeting, in accordance with the CEC resolution on the accreditation of media representatives, 25 representatives of local media were registered. It is worth noting that until today, 802 representatives of local and 48 representatives of foreign media have been accredited.
At the end of the event, the relevant resolutions of the Central Election Commission were adopted on the issues considered.
