The agenda of the meeting included accreditation of observers from foreign countries and international organizations participating in the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan, mass media, as well as hearing the information from the Chairpersons of individual District Commissions on the preparation of the referendum.
At the beginning of the meeting, the members of the commission addressed the issue of accreditation of observers from foreign states and international organizations participating in the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan and decided to accredit 14 long-term observers for the mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
In addition, according to the applications received by the CEC, a total of 175 representatives of 32 local media were accredited. Currently, the number of accredited representatives of local media is 284.
At the meeting, the Chairperson of the 3rd Bukhara District Commission, the 4th Jizzax District Commission, and the 14th Tashkent city District Commission were briefed on the work being done to prepare for and hold the referendum at a high organizational level.
The meeting took relevant decisions on the issues on the agenda.
