Launching the next stage of the training seminars

The second stage of training seminars is starting on July 12 and will proceed up to August 8. The seminars are held in line with the concept of training election commissions staff, approved by the Central Election Commission.

The second stage of training seminars is starting on July 12 and will proceed up to August 8. The seminars are held in line with the concept of training election commissions staff, approved by the Central Election Commission.

To ensure due preparation for trainings at this stage, experts of the Academy of Public Administration (APA) and Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) held seminars and trainings concerning the technologies of organizing case-based training sessions on July 5-6.

The aim of the training seminars was improvement of knowledge and skills of national and regional trainers involved in training candidates for members of election commissions, who are chief organizers of the electoral process.

The training seminars were conducted on the basis of a curriculum and training materials developed by a group of experts from the APA and TSUL.

To be noted that from June 7 to June 23, 32,715 candidates for the positions of chairmen, deputy chairmen and secretaries of commissions were trained at district and municipal seminars in all regions of the country.

The second stage of training seminars targets at improving knowledge and skills of more than 32,000 candidates for the positions of chairman, deputy chairman and secretary of the precinct election commission.

In addition, national and regional trainers plan to organize training courses in various formats for the chairmen of more than 9 thousand regional assemblies of citizens, as well as 9 thousand workers of divers fields. The total coverage of the trainings will be more than 240 thousand people.
