To the attention of the media: Accreditation of media representatives by the Central Election Commission continues

During the election campaign of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the media covering the elections shall be accredited by the Central Election Commission.

 

Accredited media representatives have the right to cover all events related to the preparation and conduct of elections, to be present and observed in polling stations on election day, including during the vote count.

Applications for accreditation 2021 will be accepted by the Central Election Commission until 18:00 on October 14.

Mass media of the Republic of Uzbekistan intending to be accredited must submit the following documents to the Central Election Commission:

– written application to the Central Election Commission for accreditation. The application is submitted on the official form of the media (organization) and must be signed by the head of this organisation. The application shall indicate the last name, first name, patronymic and position of the accredited media representative (employee). If the number of representatives is large, their list may be attached to the application;

– copy of identity document (passport, ID card) of the accredited representative (representatives);

– 1 photos in size 3*4 cm or an electronic photo in jpg format.
It is advisable to provide a copy of the certificate of registration of the media.

Representatives of foreign mass media accredited in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be accredited by the Central Election Commission.

The following documents shall be submitted to the Central Election Commission for accreditation of foreign media representatives:

– written application to the Central Election Commission for accreditation. The application must be approved by the signature of the head of the foreign media correspondent office (bureau, office) accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The application shall indicate the last name, first name, patronymic and position of the accredited media representative (employee). If the number of representatives is large, their list may be attached to the application;

– copy of identity document (passport, ID card) of the accredited representative (representatives);

– 1 photos in size 3*4 cm or an electronic photo in jpg format.

It is advisable to provide a copy of the certificate of accreditation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Documents are accepted in paper and electronic form.
