In this regard, a seminar-training for employees of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan was held on August 16-17 at the Press Center of the Central Election Commission.

The seminar was organized for employees of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan and was attended by more than 150 employees of the NTRC. In particular, NTRC regional journalists were able to communicate through the ZOOM platform.

The purpose of the event is to promote high-quality and wide coverage of the upcoming presidential election in the NTRC, the main complex of television and radio channels in the country.

The training lasted for two days and covered the following topics:

• Changes in the electoral legislation and the peculiarities of the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
• Rights and obligations of mass media representatives during the election campaign of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
• Procedure for campaigning by candidates during the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
