The meeting discussed issues of preparation for the presidential elections, which will be held this year, in particular, amendments to the electoral legislation, financing of the election campaign, the use of modern information technologies in the electoral process, the activities of district election commissions for the election of the President, plots abroad and others.

It should be noted that at the invitation of the Central Election Commission, a mission of 18 experts will monitor the preparation and conduct of the presidential elections.

In turn, they will visit the district and precinct election commissions of the republic to collect and analyze materials on the electoral process, conduct a legal examination of the electoral legislation and evaluate the principles of openness and transparency of elections.
