On May 15, the Central Election Commission held a regular meeting to discuss the early presidential election, attended by the representatives of political parties.

In the meeting, the Commission considered the issue of allowing political parties to participate in the early election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As prescribed by the Election Code, the CEC, after considering documents on participation in the early presidential election submitted by the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Adolat, the Ecological Party Uzbekistan, and the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Milliy Tiklanish, allowed these parties to participate in the upcoming early presidential elections on July 9, 2023 and adopted corresponding resolutions.

After the meeting, registration certificates and signature lists were handed over to the authorized representatives of political parties.

The resolutions of the CEC on the issue will be posted on the website of the CEC, and information on political parties allowed to participate in the election will be published in the national press.
