The agenda included the issues of defining additional measures for video translation (live streaming) of the election process at some polling stations, the introduction of digital technologies into the election process, the work done to improve the information system for managing the election process, amending the composition of the 11th Fergana District Election Commission for the Presidential elections of the Republic Uzbekistan, accreditation of observers from international organizations and foreign countries at the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the media.
The members of the Commission first considered the issue of identifying additional measures for video translation (live streaming) of the electoral process at some polling stations, introducing digital technologies into the election process.
The use of modern information technologies in the electoral process ensures openness and transparency, as well as creates convenience for voters. Therefore, a number of countries use modern information technologies in the election process.
It was noted that on election day, the election process is going to be televised live at 207 polling stations across the country. The live streaming will be shown on a big screen in the Press Center of the Central Election Commission, as well as online on the saylov2021.uz portal, Uzbekiston 24, and other TV channels of the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the First Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technologies O. Pekos, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs N. Turakhodjaev, Deputy Director of the Cadastre Agency M. Mirmaksudov and the head of the State Center for Personalization U. Tashkhodjaev reported on the work done to introduce digital technologies in the election process, to improve the information system for managing the election process.
The meeting considered the issue of amendments to the composition of the 11th Fergana District Election Commission for the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Thus, Vech Olesya Yaroslavna, a member of the 11th Fergana District Election Commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was relieved of her post on the basis of her application. On the proposal of the Fergana regional Kengash of people's deputies, the acting head of the Fergana regional department of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Yusufbek Ikramovich Gafurov, was approved as a member of the 11th Fergana District Election Commission.
The members of the Commission considered the issue of accrediting observers from international organizations and foreign countries at the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It was noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted to the CEC submissions on the accreditation of 177 foreign (international) observers. For this reason, a draft resolution of the CEC has been developed on the accreditation of observers from foreign countries and international organizations in the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Based on this, 177 international observers from international organizations were registered - OSCE / ODIHR, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Turkic Council, the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, the International Turkish Academy, the European Parliament, the Standing Commission OIC for Scientific and Technical Cooperation, UNESCO, as well as from such foreign countries as Japan, Turkey, Slovakia, Israel, Netherlands, Spain, Indonesia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, USA, Austrian Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic.
Thus, a total of 557 observers from foreign countries and international organizations have been accredited for the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Central Election Commission submits mandates to international observers to carry out their activities during the preparation and conduct of elections within the time frame established by law.
The members of the Commission also considered the issue of accreditation of media representatives.
It was noted that the Central Election Commission received applications from 27 local media outlets. The meeting unanimously approved a draft resolution on the accreditation of media representatives, and 62 representatives of local media were accredited.
Currently, 1419 representatives of local media and 146 representatives of foreign media are accredited.
At the meeting, the members of the Commission unanimously adopted resolutions on the issues included in the agenda by open voting.
