Tamar Zhvania, Senior Expert on Europe and Eurasia, International Foundation for Electoral Systems:

-Two representatives of the International Fund for Election Systems arrived in Uzbekistan to support the Central Election Commission in the framework of project activities. We do not observe the elections in terms of evaluating the elections and presenting a specific report. We work with the CEC and other electoral actors, including the media, disabled people's organizations, civil society institutions, and youth organizations. This cooperation will begin after the current elections and will take place in preparation for the next parliamentary elections. I am confident that our cooperation will contribute to the transparency and inclusiveness of elections, active participation of voters and will contribute to the development of the country.
