The chairman of the Central Election Commission Z. Nizamkhodjaev informed the guests that all stages of the preparation and conduct of the elections are organized on the basis of openness, publicity and transparency, and that the electoral process is monitored by international observers and the media.

At the same time, it was noted that in order to increase the theoretical knowledge and practical experience of members of election commissions on electoral legislation, training seminars were organized throughout the country, a single electronic voter list was created.

It should be noted that the election of the President is an important political process for any country. The upcoming elections in Uzbekistan are of great interest to international organizations.

On the same day, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev met with the Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurdjan Shildabekova.

At the meeting, issues of preparation and holding of elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed. It was noted that the election campaign is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Election Code and democratic principles.

International observers arrived before the elections to assess the pre-election situation in the country, including preparations for the elections. Their task is to develop recommendations on the advisability of holding election events.
