We came as observers from the Republic of Kazakhstan. On October 24, a great event took place in the history of Uzbekistan. I met representatives of various nationalities in different polling stations. There is a feeling of joy in the heart of every voter. The weather was also great on election day.

I saw a high patriotic spirit in people. Voters have fully exercised their constitutional right to contribute to the development of New Uzbekistan. At the polling station, when I asked a young man, «Who did you vote for?», he replied, «For my future». «We've chosen the future of our children and grandchildren», the elders said. The election was held in the spirit of openness and transparency.
