In accordance with the work plan of the Central Election Commission for the first half of 2022, the working group studied the issues of the uniform application of the Electoral Code by the election commissions of the Surkhandarya regional (city and district) Kengashes of people's deputies and the practice of organizing and holding elections for vacant seats in local Kengashes. Members of the working group also considered the state of storage of electoral equipment allocated to the region.

Based on the results of the study, together with members of the relevant election commissions, officials of local self-government bodies, the situation with the organization and conduct of elections, ensuring the safety of electoral equipment was analyzed, measures were taken to eliminate the identified shortcomings, and they were provided with methodological and practical assistance.

According to the plan, the working group continues to work in the Kashkadarya region.
