The Convention on Standards of Democratic Elections, the Voting Rights and Freedoms in the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States (Chisinau, October 7, 2002) states that democratic elections are the basis of the will and power of the people, the foundation of elected state and local self-government bodies, other people's (national) representative bodies, elected officials.
November 29, 2021, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with the heads of international observation missions to monitor the parliamentary elections in the country. The head of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Z.Nizamkhodzhayev took part at the meeting.
After the start of the presidential elections on July 23 this year, the Central Election Commission (CEC) worked to cover this important political process, and consequently, a Press Center was established for the purpose of improving legal knowledge and electoral culture of the population, as well as launching a temporarily centralized campaign system in the country.
As previously reported, the Uzbek delegation is taking part in the elections to the Jokargy Kenes of the Kyrgyz Republic to be held on November 27-29.

Gender equality and women’s participation in political processes are growing in Uzbekistan. Undoubtedly, this situation is also observed in the election process.
