On September 30, 2021, the next meeting of the Central Election Commission was held. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Commission Z. Nizamkhodjaev.
Long-term observers from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) of the Observation Mission for the Presidential Election of the Republic of Uzbekistan Raushan Bolotalieva and Thomas Holzer were got acquainted with the work of the 4th Jizzakh District Election Commission.
Pavlína Öhman and Thomas Hug, long-term observers from the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, visited the Kashkadarya regional television and radio station company to learn how the election process is being covered in the media.
On September 25 of this year, in the 3rd constituency of Bukhara, a meeting was held with long-term observers of the mission to observe the presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Heik Baddenhausen and Martin Oknecht.
In these days is continuing thoroughly preparation for Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan throughout of the country, which will be held on October 24 of this year. Long-term observers from several prestigious international organizations have arrived in our country to get acquainted with the preparations for this political process.
OSCE long-term observer Linden Yohanna and short-term observer Ramaska Ricardas got acquainted with the activities of the 9th Surkhandarya District Election Commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The observers were interested in the process of preparation for an important political process in the life of our country.
According to the calendar plan of the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by the Central Election Commission, from September 10 to 13 this year, the composition of precinct election commissions at 10,760 polling stations was approved by 14 district election commissions for the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Precinct election commissions include 142,044 members of the commissions of 10,760 polling stations.
As part of the implementation of a joint project by the Central Election Commission with the UNDP Office in Uzbekistan "Support to the electoral process in Uzbekistan for 2019-2021", events are being held to support the more active participation of women, youth, and people with disabilities in the upcoming elections on October 24 of this year.
On September 23 2021, the Central Election Commission held a regular meeting. The meeting was headed by the Chairman of the Commission Z. Nizamkhodjaev.
